Nonprofits with strong balance sheets are positioned to take advantage of the opportunities the current conditions create. For these nonprofits, the economic turmoil is producing attractive targets for acquisition.

Growing through merger or acquisition is particularly appealing in the current market because nonprofits with similar mission may not have adequate balance sheets to carry them through a downturn. We will be continuing to identify potential charities that need to find a partner to help them continue their mission.

Edward Charles will help in identifying potential targets that may not be in a position to comfortably maintain their services. We will work to identify which leaders of the acquired nonprofit will be key after the acquisition process, what technologies will be preserved and assist with the cultural integration. The process is designed to assure a quick but smooth integration of two nonprofits.
